Dr. Holly O'Clair

Optometrist

Dr. O’Clair graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, she worked as an OT in a variety of health care settings helping individuals regain their independence in activities of daily living by overcoming cognitive, physical, and neurological deficits. Her interest in optometry developed while working with patients who had experienced visual deficits after suffering from a stroke or head injury. This led Dr. O’Clair to decide to return to school to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree. In the spring of 2000, she graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.

Dr. O’Clair brings over 20 years of diverse clinical experience to Newnan Family Eyecare. She will be providing comprehensive optometric services to patients of all ages. She focuses on a complete assessment of her patient’s concerns and strives to deliver the best possible care to each person that entrusts her with their eyes.

Dr. O’Clair and her family have lived in Georgia since 2013. She and her husband, Kurt, have three teenagers and two dogs. In her free time, Dr. O’Clair enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, traveling, working outdoors in her yard, and taking on DIY projects.

Dr. O’Clair is very excited to be a part of the Newnan Family Eyecare team and looks forward to serving the residents of Newnan and the surrounding communities for years to come.
